Before and After photos in Japan

Someone sent me this site of photos that can scroll left to right, showing before and after the tsunami.

Unless you’re right there, it’s difficult to get a sense of the power of a quake and a tsunami. This is one way to measure it, I guess. Two things initially hit me from these photos: The reactors should not have been in a place where they could have been affected so much; and the before photos of the residential areas are full of green life, the after photos are brown.

The Earth is dynamic on a large scale.
